Welcome to the Blues Collaborative
of Southeast Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley!

The Blues Collaborative is a group of like-minded blues bands playing throughout Southeast Pennsylvania, the Delaware Valley and beyond. We've banded together (yes, the pun was intended) to pool our resources to promote each other's band as well as some of the venues where live blues can heard on a regular basis. We also share more than our promotional resources as many of the musicians already play with more than one of these bands as either regular members or substitutes. Our longer term goal is to continue to promote live music, in particular the blues, whenever we can. Sure, Karaoke and Texas Hold 'Em may be a fun diversion, but still, nothing beats an evening with friends listening to a live band of talented musicians committed to the music they love to play.

On this site you'll find summaries of the bands associated with the Blues Collaborative with links to their individual band web sites. You'll also find links where you can listen to and purchase some of the fine music these bands have created, either via a physical CD or digital download. There's also listings of some fine venues where you can hear this music live.

The Blues Collaborative publishes a periodic electronic newsletter that is distributed via e-mail. Each issue provides the latest news for the bands and the upcoming performance schedule for all of the bands. From time to time, we'll include special features highlighting some of the individual musicians and special venues where we play. We'd like to encourage you to sign up so that you can be kept up to date on the news and activities for these bands. There is a sign-up block on the left hand side of each page. All you need to do is enter your e-mail address and press go. We also archive each issue, which are listed in the Archives section of our web site.
